Privacy Policy
Effective Date: January 1st, 2026
1. Introduction
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Idea Space Labs, Inc. (“Idea Space Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you use our generative AI-powered meditation application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). It also describes your rights and choices regarding your information. This Policy is an integral part of our commitment to transparency and trust. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
This Privacy Policy applies to personal data we collect through our app, website, and related services, including when you sign up for our newsletter, communicate with us, or interact with our digital content.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. If you have any questions or concerns about our privacy practices, please contact us at contact@ideaspace.ai.
Please also review our Terms of Service to understand the terms and conditions that govern your use of the Service.
2. Personal Data We Collect
We collect several categories of information from and about users of our Service. This includes information you provide directly, information collected automatically through your use of the Service, and information we obtain from third parties when you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services. We process personal data based on your consent, our legitimate interests, or to fulfill our contractual obligations, as required by law. The types of information we may collect are:
2.1 Information You Provide to Us Directly
- Account Registration Information: When you create an account, we collect personal identifiers such as your name, email address, login credentials, and, if applicable, username, nickname, or display name. If you sign up using a third-party authentication, we receive from that provider your name, email, and possibly a profile photo, or similar identifier. We may also record which login method you used.
- Profile and Demographic Data: You have the option to provide additional profile details to enhance your experience. This may include information such as your profile picture , your age or date of birth, gender, preferred language, and time zone.
- Meditation Preferences and Goals: The Service may ask for, allow you to input, or generate certain preferences to personalize your experience. For example, you might share your favorite types of meditation, your goals, or the times of day you prefer to meditate. You might also set or record goals, streaks, memories (notes about particular sessions), or milestones within the app. These inputs are stored to tailor the Service to you and track your progress.
- Content of Chats and Meditation Sessions: Because our app provides generative AI chat and meditation guidance, we will collect and store the content of your interactions with the AI. This includes the questions, prompts, or messages you input and the AI-generated responses or meditation scripts that are provided to you as Output.
- Activity and Usage Data: We collect data about your activity on the Service, such as when and for how long you meditate. We may also derive insights from this data, such as identifying your preferred meditation times or preferred types of meditations to personalize the Service for you.
- Feedback and Communications: If you communicate with us or provide feedback, we will collect your contact information and the content of your communication. This might include support inquiries, bug reports, or opinions about the Service. If you rate meditations or provide direct feedback on AI Outputs, we collect that feedback as well.
- Payment and Subscription Information: If you choose to purchase a subscription or any paid feature, you will provide payment details. We rely on an industry standard third-party to handle payment transactions. While we do not collect your full payment card details directly, we may collect and store information related to your purchases such as your subscription tier, the dates and amounts of transactions, and whether a transaction was successful. The third-party may return to us a payment confirmation and basic billing info, which we keep for record-keeping and to comply with financial regulations. We also keep track of your subscription status and applicable renewal dates. Note: If we ever directly collected any payment information, then we would only use it for that transaction and secure it as required by law.
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- Device Information: We collect data about the device you use to access the Service. This can include information such as your device model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, browser type, and screen resolution.
- Usage and Log Data: Our servers automatically record certain information in log files when you interact with the Service. This log data may include your Internet Protocol (IP) address, the date and time of each request or session, app features or pages viewed, crashes and error reports, and the actions you took. We also log when you log in or out, and any changes to your profile or settings for auditing purposes.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect information and improve your experience. Cookies might store your preferences, keep you logged in, or track aggregate usage of our web pages. You can control cookies through your browser settings and other tools, however note that disabling certain cookies might affect functionality of the Service.
2.3 Information We Obtain from Third Parties
- Third-Party Login Providers: If you choose to register or log in via a third-party account, we receive personal information from that third party. This typically includes your name, email address, and profile picture, as provided by your account with them. It may also include a unique ID that the third-party uses to reference your account. We only receive information that you authorize the third-party to share with us as part of the login process. We do not receive your third-party account password or other highly sensitive data from your third party account.
-
Payment Processors and App Stores: If you make a purchase, we may receive information from our payment processor or from the app store platform, if applicable, confirming your payment. We treat this information in accordance with our policies, using it to activate your premium features and maintain accurate financial records.
- Analytics and Advertising Partners: We currently do not share personal data for advertising purposes. If in the future we partner with advertising or cross-promotion networks, we will update this Policy. However, we may receive aggregated demographic or interest information from analytics partners that does not identify you personally but gives us insight into our user base.
- Other Sources: We might receive information from other sources to which you have consented. For example, if we run a referral program or a marketing campaign on social media and you choose to participate, we might receive info such as your social media handle or an ID from the referral.
We strive to limit the information we collect to only what is necessary to provide and improve the Service. You have choices about what information you provide, but note that some functionality may require certain data.
3. How We Use Your Personal Data
Idea Space Labs uses the collected information for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Operate the Service: First and foremost, we use your information to deliver the features and services you expect. This includes using your input to generate AI-driven meditation guidance, maintaining your profile and settings, and recording your meditation sessions and progress. We use your profile and past session data to tailor the AI’s responses to better suit your experience level and preferences.
- Personalization: We strive to personalize your meditation experience. We may use the information about your goals, past activity, memories, and preferences to recommend certain types of meditations or adjust the tone of the AI guidance. Personal data like experience level might be used to slightly adapt the content. All such use is intended to make the experience more relevant and helpful to you.
- AI Processing and Responses: We send your prompts and relevant context to our AI service providers solely to generate the content you request. This may include limited profile info or prior interactions to improve response quality. These providers process your data on our behalf in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies, and we do not authorize them to use your content for model training without your consent.
- Service Improvement and Development: We are constantly working to improve the app. We use aggregated and de-identified data about how users interact with the Service to identify trends, fix bugs, and enhance features. We do not use your chats or meditations to train the core machine learning models that power our AI, except as necessary for safety, moderation, or system integrity. These improvement processes do not involve public disclosure of your data and are subject to strict internal access controls. Wherever possible, we rely on aggregated insights rather than individual logs.
- Communicating with You: We use your contact information to send you service-related communications. This can include emails to verify your email address upon registration, reset your password, notify you of subscription status (e.g., confirmation of payment or upcoming renewal), or inform you of important updates to the Service (like changes to these terms or privacy policy, security alerts, or technical issues). We may also send you promotional communications about new features, content, or offers if you have opted to receive such communications. You can opt out of promotional emails at any time. We might also use in-app notifications or push notifications on your device to remind you of meditation sessions (if you enabled reminders), or to alert you that “your daily meditation is ready” etc. Push notifications can be controlled via your device settings. All communications will be reasonable in frequency.
- Progress Tracking and Social Features: The Service includes social or community features—such as adding friends, sharing meditation stats, or joining challenges—we may use relevant data to enable those features. If you choose to publicly share a meditation, that content will be published according to your action and treated as public from that point forward.
- Security and Fraud Prevention: We may use information to maintain the security of the Service and its users. This includes monitoring for suspicious activity or violations of our Terms of Service. We may use IP addresses and device info to block malicious users or bots. If we suspect that an account is being used in a way that violates our policies or could be fraudulent, we may analyze the relevant data to confirm and take action. We also may use your email or phone to verify your identity or send authentication codes.
- Legal Compliance and Enforcement: We may process your personal information to comply with legal obligations. If we receive a lawful subpoena or court order, we may need to provide the requested information. Also, we will use your information as necessary to enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements, and to prevent harm.
- Research and Development: In addition to improving the current Service, we may use data for research purposes related to meditation and AI. This would be in an aggregated or anonymized form unless we explicitly ask for your consent to use identified data.
- Business Operations: General business administration tasks also require use of data. For instance, we may use your information for accounting, auditing, and billing purposes. If we ever engage in a business transaction, we might use aggregated user data to demonstrate our user base and usage patterns. If the ownership or management of the Service changes, the new owners would continue to use your data only as described in this Policy.
4. Disclosing Personal Data
We share user information only in the following circumstances:
4.1 Service Providers and Partners
We share information with trusted third-party service providers who need access to that information in order to perform tasks on our behalf. The key categories of service providers we use are:
- AI Technology Providers: We send certain data to provide the core AI functionality. When you input text, your data is not used to improve the underlying models.
- Hosting and Infrastructure: We use a third-party provider to host our application, databases, and user data. All of your personal data is stored on cloud servers. As a leading cloud provider, our third-party provider maintains high security standards and acts as a processor. Our cloud provider does not access your content except to the extent needed to maintain and support the cloud infrastructure.
- Payment Processor: We share information with the industry standard third-party payment processor for handling subscription payments. When you initiate a purchase, information is transmitted securely to the third-party who processes your payment information under strict security protocols. We also may share certain information like your IP address or device information at the time of payment (this can help with fraud detection). In turn, the third-party provider delivers us with confirmation of payment and possibly some limited info. The third-party provider is not permitted to use your personal information for any purpose other than to provide payment processing services to us, and to comply with applicable laws.
- Email and Communication Tools: We may use third-party platforms to send emails or other communications. In doing so, we necessarily share your email address and the content of the message with the service provider. These providers are only allowed to use that data to send communications on our behalf.
- Analytics Services: We use analytics tools to help us understand app usage and improve the Service. These tools may collect device information, general usage patterns, and technical identifiers.
4.2 Other Disclosures
We may also disclose your information in the following circumstances:
-
Legal Requirements and Safety: We may disclose personal information if we have a good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request. If legally permissible and practicable, we will attempt to notify you of such demands so you have an opportunity to object unless we are legally prohibited from doing so or the request is an emergency.
- Enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements, or investigate potential violations thereof.
- Detect, prevent, or otherwise address illegal or suspected illegal activities (such as fraud, security or technical issues, or misuse of the Service).
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of Idea Space Labs, our users, or the public as required or permitted by law. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and spam/malware prevention, and cooperating with law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
- Business Transfers: In the event that Idea Space Labs, Inc. is involved in or contemplating a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of company assets, or other corporate transaction, your information may be transferred to or shared with the parties involved. In such cases, you will be provided with notice and possibly new terms at that time.
- Aggregated or De-Identified Data: We may share information that has been aggregated or de-identified with third parties for any legitimate purpose. This information will not include personal identifiers or content that could uniquely identify any individual user. We may share these insights publicly or with partners who are interested in understanding usage patterns. When we de-identify data, we undertake measures so that it cannot reasonably be re-associated with you.
No Selling of Personal Data: We do not sell your personal information, share it with other platforms for targeted advertising, or use sensitive data to make inferences about you.
Third-Party Privacy Policies: When we or you share data with a third-party service at your direction, that data will be handled according to the third party’s privacy policy, which we do not control. We encourage you to review the privacy settings and policies of any third-party services you interact with.
5. Data Storage and Security
5.1 Data Location and Storage
All user data collected through the Service is currently stored and processed on cloud servers located in data centers. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to and stored wherever the servers may be globally. We will protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy wherever it is processed. We maintain personal data in electronic form.
5.2 Security Measures
We implement technical and organizational safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These include access controls, network protections, and internal policies for secure handling of user data. However, no system is completely secure, and we encourage you to use strong passwords and take appropriate precautions to protect your account.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
